Our Tenant Screening Process

Every applicant for a tenancy will need to fill out an online application. You can view the form here. This form asks the applicant to list former landlords’ names and contact details, share the length of previous tenancies, disclose employment status and criminal convictions and provide all the information required for us to perform an official credit check.

We check all references provided and use iIlion, the trusted credit report provider for landlords in New Zealand.

Reference Checks

We call all reference names provided by your potential tenants. We also do online research.

Financial Checks

We ensure that tenants have a good record of payment at previous tenancies, and we check income status.
